Moonmilk - The drawings

Moonmilk – The drawings

Ink & acrylic on paper.

Sizes vary – 2025

Taking inspiration from my moonmilk video – I am developing a body of drawings, using solely my fingers as drawing tools. I am interested in the visceral method of process and the bodily forms it conveys.

Moonmilk was believed to be a gift from the gods, but is a creamy-white precipitate found inside caves. Moonmilk was used for ‘Fluting’ (drawing lines with fingers) in prehistoric cave drawings. I hope to draw with natural pigments or actually Moonmilk itself one day.

I am still experimenting with this process.
