Her Outline Kept Slipping was my first fully realised work combining video and sound, created alongside a series of ephemeral drawings under the same title. Produced during the first lockdown of the pandemic, it became both a personal meditation and a vessel for expressing my fear of contracting COVID-19, interwoven with moments of unexpected beauty and stillness I encountered.
Life felt simultaneously fragile and luminous; the work reflects this tension, exploring surrender, the strange juxtapositions of existence, and the quiet act of letting go—seeking light without being consumed by darkness.
All footage was filmed and edited by me, layered with archival Dharma talks by Ram Dass and soundscapes I discovered, recorded, and manipulated.
